Orchestrion support for go lang 1.24

When is datadog going to support version 1.24? I see latest release only supports till 1.23 version

Hey Elliott,
Our Dev's are running below commands for installing the orchestration

• go install github.com/DataDog/orchestrion@latest

• orchestrion pin

and getting error as
orchestrion was built with Go version go1.23.8 but package "runtime" requires a newer go version, please reinstall and pin orchestrion with a newer Go version: type-checking files: /opt/homebrew/Cellar/go/1.24.2/libexec/src/runtime/alg.go:5:1: package requires newer Go version go1.24 (application built with go1.23)

Ah - this is because you've installed orchestrion with go1.23... So it was built with the go1.23 standard library (including 1.23 go/ast and go/parser). You simply need to re-install orchestrion, building it with a go1.24 toolchain... In essence, just re-doing go install github.com/DataDog/orchestrion@latest should get you going!

The error message is trying to tell you this; but I must admit we're struggling to figure out an appropriate error message that successfully explains what is going on and what is needed of you without being 5 lines long...

I'm running in to a similar issue. When running
go version go install github.com/DataDog/orchestrion@latest go build -toolexec 'orchestrion toolexec' go test -cover -toolexec 'orchestrion toolexec' -parallel 1 -tags fast -timeout 1m -v ./...

I get the following output:
go version go1.24.1 linux/amd64 go: github.com/DataDog/orchestrion@v1.3.1 requires go >= 1.23.0; switching to go1.23.8 go: downloading go1.23.8 (linux/amd64)

So as you can see, I'm running 1.24.1. but when installing github.com/DataDog/orchestrion@latest it switches down to go1.23.8.

I've also verified that I'm running go toolchain 1.24.1.

Any help with this would be appreciated.
