update better discord / happens randomly too idk how

Describe the bug

i have these gifs saved the thumbnails broke when i updated better discord today
"not all gifs just these few"
also the same for saved imgs
when i disable the plugin the gifs have their thumbnail normally so i assume it's the plugin
the break occasionally

the thumbnails work again if i unsave then save the gifs again

I've also been facing the same problem for a few weeks now, and so far I haven't found a concrete solution for this bug.

I'm still waiting for an update that fixes this bug or something.

(Almost 4 months without anyone posting anything here lol)
