How to determine scale?

Hey! I stumbled upon this repo and was looking to use it with dall-e, but I cant get a result that zooms smoothly. Do I just determine the log_scale by a lot of trial and error until it looks good enough? Or is there a better way to calculate it.

Also: I saw there was a 48px crop in both the animate_frames.py and zoom_transparent.py . Any reason why they are there? Seems to work fine if i remove them from both files.

Hello! If I am perfectly honest, I don't really understand why the log_scale and offset need to be these weird numbers. And yes I got them to work for me by just trial and error and looking at two subsequent images and doing the calculations. Sorry!

As for the 48px crop, I believe that is to remove the dalle-2 logo thing at the bottom. It works fine without but I think you get a bit of a flicker
