should we proceed with web-like UI like in all the above designs? or try to develop a native-like UI? similar to swift, flutter and windows UI?

Why would that matter? I’m just looking for design/style guidelines or inspiration, apple’s figma file (the first link) is my favorite among all of them, we could use that as a starting point and then diverge from it, do you have any preferences?

And man, I think it'll be great to find some real UI designer to suggest us good UIs

Finding that person would be great, for now, I've changed my mind about macOS and I'm moving toward something more minimal and flat, like GTK4's Adwaita, flat solid colors, rounded corners, shadows where needed, and subtle animations for opacity and brightness when clicking or hovering, but I’d still like to keep some blur effects for side panels, popups, menus and other components.

I'm making the core components as optimized as possible, reusing buffers/assets wherever I can, even if that means sacrificing some styling flexibility, but anyway, the idea of Kay is that you can build your own components if you're aiming for a really specific style, what do you think?
