Only a period works as decimals separator in calculated field

In a form I use the comma as decimals separator (like in standard German numbers) in my calculated field (and 2 decimal places). After newest update (JFB 3.5.3), the field on the front end shows always 0. Only if I change the separator to a period (like standard American numbers) than it works correctly and shows the full number.

This is serious, please fix it!

Sorry, but what do you not understand?

• JetFormBuilder
• calculated field
• 2 decimal places
• decimals separator (period / comma)
• period works
• comma does not work (shows 0 on front end)

I've tried, but it works well. I added the number field and added a calc field, set the comma in the settings, and all is fine

Do you use a specific formula in the calc field? Could you share the form here? Open code view, copy it and paste here

OK, I tested a bit more... it only happens, if I get the variable from a hidden field. In your example you use a number field, which works here, too.
Please test with a variable in a hidden field.

Hm, maybe the hidden field gets interpreted as a string? But how can I make it a number?

It's a normal behavior for this case because the hidden field returns a value as a string. The best way is to change the comma to a period in the hidden field value (make it look like a number value), or you can use the calc field as a string

Maybe it is normal, but I don't think it should be normal. I save a number with this form, than I load the form again and how can I get this number as a variable?
And why does it work with the period and not comma? (In Germany we use comma!)
Maybe you could rethink how it works.
