linker error

When I run "make", at the very end I get the following error:

ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
make: *** [hal2vg] Error 1

I have a macOS Sierra version 10.12.1

my gcc version is
gcc (MacPorts gcc49 4.9.4_0) 4.9.4

According to the error message it looks like you're using clang and not gcc. Switching to gcc ought to help, as that's what I've built with.

I just tried, and couldn't get it to build on my Mac either. And notcied that sonLib/include.mk also switches to clang in darwin even if gcc is default compiler. Will try to sort this out
