Making changes in the package

Hello, I am new to the Solid world. I cloned the repository and began exploring it yesterday. I wish to make some changes to the package. However, I've noticed that in order to see my changes, I have to execute npm ci again and then run npm start. I find this process very tedious and time-consuming.

For instance, I added console.log statements to certain functions. When I run npm start, these console.log messages aren't displayed in the terminal. It seems like the old version is being executed and my changes aren't being compiled. But when I first run npm ci, and then follow it with npm start, the console.log messages are executed as expected.

You'll want to run npm run build after your changes so the TypeScript files can be built
