Add an example in documentation on how to ignore query parameters

Sometimes I come across cases where I need to ignore query parameters for requests, and right now I don't have a solution how I can do this without some hack, but if we get access to ignoring query parameters like match_params={}, everything will work.

You can provide a regular expression when matching the URL, it should do the trick.

This is however a good point, README should be updated to include a sample ignoring query parameters.

That's exactly how i solved this problem :)
As if explicitly specifying ignoring is more correct ?

Yes. having a regular expression here makes it clear that you want to ignore all query parameters. For future reference I will update the documentation to include this use case, as I assume it is a common one.
