Does SearchPluPlus run on Windows 7?

I get "Undetermined error processing this regular expression" for any regex with the Regex button and no response at all with the ICU button. Plain searches work.

I'm running n++ x86 on Wondows 7 x64. I see these dlls loaded with n++

icudt78.dll
icuin78.dll
icuuc78.dll

but not these

icuio78.dll
icutu78.dll

Thank you for the report.

I do have a machine running Windows 7, and using x64 Notepad++ with Search++ I’m getting the same results with Regex and a hard crash with ICU.

I haven’t been able to find a definitive statement, but it appears that the pre-built DLLs for ICU4C 78.x don’t work on Windows 7. Both the Regex search and the ICU search depend on them.

I will investigate further, but if the current version of ICU4C doesn’t work on Windows 7, I won’t be able to fix this.
