Right! I have finally got 1.4.4 from F-Droid and I want to offer feedback on multiple features.
I didn't know what kind of Issue to open, I hope this is acceptable. Feel free to close if I'm breaking rules.
First impressions: Awesome!! \o/
Re-Order Apps - It is very useful and it works fine for me. It would be nice if the list would update as I'm moving the app shortcut around but it's not that important.
Clock Text Size Multiplier - Again, this is very useful. I have an older phone with a smaller screen where if I increase the size of the text too much it makes the clock show on two lines. Well, it used too. Not anymore! : )
Display Recent Apps and Use Icon Font - I don't know what these do. Maybe I'm dumb. : )
App Search From Start - I don't get this. If it's Off I can search the apps list just fine, it's just that the search seems a bit fuzzy, which I like by the way. If it's On the search seems to be more accurate. Did I get it right? What does Filter Strength do then!? I'm a bit confused. Suggestion: Add feature descriptions in the Wiki?
Pages - \o/ \o/ \o/
Gestures - This I'm very very excited about but .. uuum, long Swipes don't work for me. Except sometimes, in very rare cases. I don't know why they trigger though. I can't, I don't know how to replicate. If I do short swipes, say 40% of the screen size then short swipes actions trigger. If I do long swipes, say 80% of the screen size then the same short swipes action trigger. Can anyone else provide feedback on this?
Anyway, great update! This launcher is truly amazing with plenty of features while still looking slick and simple.
