Pattern for simple interactions

I just tried to add a comment on a gov website. To do this it required me to create an account on their site, which involved entering a strong password twice and selecting a security question. I dont want to do all that just to add a comment!

Is that a pattern? If so, any name suggestions?

I think it is. I'm just trying to distill it down to its essence. To me it's about lowering the bar to access. Possibilities:

• make the simple easy and the difficult possible
• don't require login or registration
