- Due to several Hymenoptera incertae sedis names the Hymenoptera classification was reviewed starting from the family Diapioidea, this lead to a uopded of the infraorders, subfamilies the same.
- Update Myriapoda base on Millibase and Myryatrix, Euthycarcinoidea† [class] was added, this class is not part of Ruggiero et al. 2015
Previous undocumented changes
- Algae was removed in 2024 in favor of adding specific dinamic sector instead of a static Patch
- Coleoptera test was added and removed during 2025 as Bouchards classification became part of the base release

The higher taxonomy of Hymenoptera was added acording to ITIS to include infraorders. This was motivated by this issue.
Changes to reflect more recent revision of Chelicerata on ITIS
Simplifications made from original Ruggiero et al. 2015
- Arachnida [class] # "should" be under Euchelicerata [class]
- Copepoda [class] # "should" be under Maxillopoda
Merostomata [class] was keep as a class under chelicerata according to worms an ITIS, this class is missing from Ruggiero et al. 2015. Nevertheless acording to Dave note on this issue, Xiphosura will be kept instead of Merostomata. So we will need to make some changes later.
