Meta: Documentation and release

We want to ensure that there is good documentation for the code as we move towards handover and release:

• To install each dependency code and couple
• To add new algorithms
• To add new input datasets
• To contribute
• To use
• General repository hygiene
• Consider a JOSS submission

Adding to this to do a PyPI release once stable.

Things to look at for release:

• Python 3.14 compatibility check. I think there was an issue with h5py, is this resolved?
• Update pyproject.toml:
  • License format (https://packaging.python.org/en/latest/tutorials/packaging-projects/#configuring-metadata)
  • Update the "Development Status"?
  • Add github page under [project.urls]?
  • Add a [tool.setuptools_scm] section to eliminate a "toml section missing" warning.
• Remove example placeholder from README
• Add version tag
