The documentation currently does not give details on what is expected as input for each algorithm. On the TempestExtremes page, some variables are given as examples which is helpful for the user to know what should be given as input. However, further useful clarifications would be:
- What is the minimal input required to get track output?
- Which variables can be given in addition to the minimal input to get values along each track (or does this work for any variable on the same grid?)
- Some high-level details of how each algorithm works, which may guide the user's choice of pre-processing steps and input
