Divide heroku on production and dev

There is a way in heroku that allows me to dedicate some branches in github to production/dev. I need to figure it out.

heroku-production is deployed automatically on every push to the branch. Heroku-dev can only be deployed manually. I couldn't find any other way.

that's the problem... manual deployment is done through the heroku console. And to access it you have to login into heroku.
