Bug: M5Stack CoreS3 touchscreen input misalignment #370

@chubbyerror

Description

@chubbyerror

Describe the bug
The touchscreen input is misaligned on the M5Stack CoreS3. Touch inputs are registered approximately 3-5 pixels lower than the actual point of contact.(may cause the status bar? just a guess ;p )

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Flash the latest Tactility firmware (v0.5.0) onto an M5Stack CoreS3.
  2. Boot up the device and enter the Launcher.
  3. Attempt to precisely tap an app icon or a button.
  4. Observe that the touch is registered incorrectly, requiring you to touch slightly above the intended target to activate it.

Expected behavior
The touch coordinates should accurately match the location where the finger presses the screen. Tapping directly on a UI element should activate it immediately and precisely.

Screenshots
Screenshots cannot capture this bug as it is a physical touch calibration issue, not a visual rendering problem. The discrepancy can only be observed through interaction.

Details (please complete the following information):

  • ESP type: ESP32-S3
  • Device: M5Stack CoreS3
  • Tactility version: 0.5.0
