Rendering error for small arrow tips

I use pdf4eclipse along texlipse for latex document generation. I make my diagrams using pgfplots. I noticed that the arrow tips of very short arrows appear very weird and deform into big blobs in pdf4eclipse. The attached file gives an example of this behaviour. It has been generated by the following latex code:
