Difference between using senticnet and a sentiment lexicon

Thank you very much for your question.
Yes, we did try other sentiment lexicons in our preliminary experiments, like WordNet. We found that all English sentiment lexicons that contain sentiment values can be used in our work, while SenticNet performs overall better. That is, the proposed method in our work is a general method. You can change the SenticNet with any other sentiment dictionary when conducting the codes.
