extern issue

 First of all, when I attempted to run your incredible codes, I received following errors:
                cannot reference to '' p" and other globle varieties,!

I dropped 'extern' in <perform_front_propagation_3d.h> and statements extern varieties, then I solved part of errors,
However, I always cannot state your function in <perform_front_propagation_3d_mex.cpp>defined in <perform_front_propagation_3d.h>.
It seems that the header file cannot be included correctly in source .cpp flie !
I wanna know how to states the fuction correct(ps:I am a rookie) ?

Hey, have you downloaded and compiled the "Toolbox Fast Marching" before running the script as described below? Issues with compilation are likely to cause these issues you outlined.

Thank you for your reply, and i have downloaded the "Toolbox Fast Marching". But when i run the 'compile_mex', it always gives an error at this instruction: 'mex mex/perform_front_propagation_3d.cpp mex/perform_front_propagation_3d_mex.cpp mex/fheap/fib.cpp'.

If i want to use new parcellation to run the pipline, would i must use the 'Tool Fast Marching' to compute a distance matrix ?

'Tool Fast Marching' is required for surface-based distance calculation, but you could use Euclidean distance calculation which will work without the toolbox.
