Currently the native mask editor in comfyui is broken, so I thought I'd download your layer forge node to quickly draw a mask.
Here was my experience.
I connected an image and it ends up the wrong size on a canvas of the wrong size.
I must need to resize my image so it corresponds with a size that isn't the size that I originally specifically resized. And now have to resize the canvas to the size of the original size of the size of the new size that corresponds to the dotted lines which may or maybe not be the canvas? im not sure. But the canvas doesn't correspond to the dotted lines boxes or the size of the size of my image.
Oh... there is an autosize. That sounds better.
Ok so its resized to double the size of my image and cropped and resized my image with a black border around the outside, I guess I'll have to manually resize with the auto resize to the dotted lines outside of the view that I didnt see with the new size of the autosize and resize to that.
Ah I see, now the canvas has been auto resized and I have to manually resize the original image to be size of the original size of the image I input to fit the autoresize.
Hmm. Ill just press ctrl+z.
Oh, the node broke. Everything has glitched out.
Ok. Delete the node. Readd a new node.
So I just auto resize and then manually resize the image back to the new autosize which for some reason is now bigger than the autoresize of the size of my original image and the size it was previously before the node broke.
But I dont know how to place the image so that its aligned to the dotted box so that I can resize the image to be the same size as the dotted box.
But if I hold ctrl to snap the image to the dotted box now my image gets stretched and doesn't maintain aspect ratio while trying to resize to the size of the dotted box which is the original size of my image but isn't maintaining aspect ration and resizing/stretching my image by not being sized to the output size that I want.
And when I use mouse wheel to zoom in to try and align my image to the dotted box now my image has resized again to.. something else. And the canvas dotted lines seems to be in screen space and my image is in zoom resize space or something? So I cant zoom without resizing my image which needs to the be the same size as the dotted lined box which is the size that I want. So now I have to zoom out and resize the image again .
I guess mouse wheel isn't a zoom but another resize option?
And then I run the workflow and end up with a new layered image resized ontop of the image I just resized and the output image is the wrong size and cropped to a different size..
Its at about at this point that I gave up and uninstalled.
