adb not found on install on supervised setup

I installed the addon in my supervised HA install but it can't find the adb command:

What command did you try? I havent tested this on a supervised installation of home assistant only HAOS

To be clear, I'm running HAOS on a Home Assistant Green device. I cannot even start the addon because it fails to run the adb command. Here's the entire log output:

I'm new to debugging these type of issues but I'm wondering if it's the fact that the cpu architecture (according to uname -m) for my device (Home Assisstant Green) is aarch64. I see in the Dockerfile that arm64 is listed but not aarch64. I believe they are equivalent but I'm not sure if aarch64 needs to be called out explicitly.

It looks like the architecture of the docker image is correct. I'm going to see if I can mount the image to see if the adb binary was installed correctly.

I mounted the docker image for arm64 and confirmed that adb is not installed on the image.

@Amateur-God I think the problem is in the apt-get in the dockerfile. It includes --no-install-recommends which causes the adb package to not be installed:

I forced an image pull and it's working however it's not clear from the documentation on how to use it to add devices. The default ADB Debug Bridge integration allows for an adb server to be utilized but it can't connect. I'm guessing because port 5037 is not open on the docker addon. Should that be opened up or am I using it wrong?

NGL I haven't used this for a while but when I first made it, it didn't stop you from connecting unless something has changed in home assistant so it now does
