Licensing issues

Hi,

It seems like you have been inspired by out CachyOS-Settings repository. The CachyOS-Settings repository uses GPL v3 and you have licensed this repository to MIT.

Since you have copied the whole tree and its very much visible that its a fork, it would be good following the GPL v3 Licensing and do not relicense it.

Open Source is great, but following licensing should be the bare minimum.

Conditons of GPL3:

• License and copyright notice
• State changes
• Disclose source
• Same license

You are violating point 1 and 4. Please fix this as fast as possible.

Since its very much visible that the whole PKGBUILD is forked and minimally modified with AI it would be also good to fix this.

Hi @ptr1337 thank you for the ticket. The main file inspired from CachyOS should be this, I don't remember there are other stuff. About AI, yes, I instructed it to start from PKGBUILD CachyOS and check if it could suit our use case. The linux-aegis repository LICENSE has been fixed as well.

It should be ok now. Please if there are other issues, let me know. If not, the ticket can be closed.
