I'm analysing RNAseq data from Leukemia samples using VarDict, and I'm finding a very high number of insertions in homopolymer regions, even if the homopolymer strechtes are quite short (5bp and up). This seems similar to the issue described here: #16
Is there any way to make VarDict less sensitive to these kinds of artefacts?
