Can TopoPyScale be used for BARRA-R data and self-provided DEM?

I'm just wondering if the TopoPyScale can be applied to BARRA-R data and self-provided DEM to downscale precipitation from 12 km to 6-5 km or 1km?

Hello @Martin20494 , If you can find and match the variables between what you can extract from the BARRA dataset and what TPS needs, then you are good. Though you may have to modify the dataset marginally to have the variable with the right nomenclature (following ERA5 nomenclature) and units. Right now the workflow is almost fully integrated to ERA5. This needs to become more generic, and we should, in the future include a table in the config file for variable names and units to accept other data sources. Right now I cannot allocate time to implement such improvements, so you are welcome to propose a fix in the eventuality you feel confortable enough to alter the codebase.

For variable names, you may look in the file fetch_era5.py
