As you can see below, we spoke together  last spring when I began to use Linux Remote Control

Nowadays I am using it frequently to teach courses or make presentations and it works fine.

Perhaps some customatization will be useful for slide presentation : gather left/right controls with click left for instance
( I suppose it is just the HTML file to change ? )

But I write to you today because I will give projects to my students next week and I wonder whether
you could propose subjects on LRC as we discussed last spring.

They have been teached all the major Web technologies,
know how Firefox OS works and know github. They can work with you as contributor and exchange by email and/or WebRTC


For instance, is the port from Ajax to Web sockets still interesting for you ?

Hi @Desiderius77.
Of course, the LRC is a Open Source project and your students can send pull requests with improvments to the project.
implementing websockets may be a good idea, we try it in past but we get some performance problems.
It will be a pleasure to accept more contributions to the project.

Unfortuntely I received you answer too late for this set of projects.

But I have another set starting in January where I will give subjects
on LRC specially about Web Sockets since you had problems with them
