1. is this possible to add yazfi guests to native asuswrt conneted clientlist?
2. is this possible to have guest networks on same subnet as my main lan? all i want from yazfi is one-way-access and isolation for iot, nothing else
3. is this known that iot devices that connect instantly pretty much bypass yazfi on router startup until yazfi starts up and forces the clients to reauth? atleast thats what i suspect is happening as during router bootup my iot devices connect to vanilla asus guest network

Can you elaborate and provide a clear description of what you mean to say?

No. By design, YazFi Guest Networks are created with the goal of isolating clients from the Main LAN/WLAN; therefore, they cannot be on the same subnet.

Yes, that's a known and expected behavior. During reboot, the built-in network interfaces come online and become active well before the 3rd-party add-ons are started up via the hook scripts. During this period, wireless clients will attempt to connect to the Main WLAN before the YazFi Guest networks are fully active. The only way you can prevent clients from connecting to the wrong interface is to explicitly tell dnsmasq to ignore each of those IP address lease requests.

Example:
dhcp-host=set:lan,set:br0,CLIENT_MAC_ADDRESS,ignore

You will need to adjust the command for your specific Main LAN/WLAN interfaces.
