As soon as i start the overlay, i can't operate it with the controller.

I have to start the overlay more often so that it recognizes the controller, which unfortunately breaks the experience.
Apart from that, I can only say very, very well done.

Thanks for the interest! Yeah, it's a real work-in-progress but I intend on jumping back into this very soon.
I'm aware of this issue and a few of the other unfortunate quirks I need to iron out but thank you for the issue submission.
Hoping to implement more features soon such as a global fps limiter, brightness and volume adjustments, etc as well as performance improvements.
