"ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'OCP'"

Hello,

I used microgen a year and a half ago. After a break from work and resuming it, I couldn't run it again and I get the issue : ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'OCP'

I don't remember installing any special OCP module before. Can you help me solve this issue?

Hi @Olya2026,

OCP is a dependency of cadquery which is a dependency of microgen and it is indeed difficult to deal with it.
What OS are you on and what version of Python are you using?

I would suggest to start from an empty environment. If you use conda, install microgen with conda. If you work with a .venv then install microgen with pip. I recommend using python 3.12.

We're currently working on reducing problems with dependencies and make microgen compatible with the latest python versions.
