Hello,
You have written that the green channel value gives the frequency of the wave, but I do not understand how that translates in wavelength as "number of pixels between peaks of the wave". Suppose I have defined a point source in a .png file as a single pixel of green value "x" (between 0 and 255). Now, I can I understand what this will be in terms of pixels (providing that the frequency scale is 1 and the red channel is 100 for n=1)? Could you please provide a formula?
Thank you!
